An entry-level job is generally the lowest-level paid position at a company. They require very little or no work experience and are typically filled by recent graduates or previous interns. While entry-level jobs may not pay well, they are a stepping stone to a better role in the organization or industry the employee wants to work in.
A job may be entry-level if it requires less than three years’ industry experience or few academic qualifications. However, some jobs are still considered entry-level, even if they require one of these two things. It all depends on how the employer wants to describe the role.
